StoreBlog ("the Service") is a Shopify application operated by Binarychakra (Seven Hills Software). This policy describes what information we collect when you install and use StoreBlog, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you install StoreBlog on your Shopify store, we collect:

• Store information — store name, domain, store owner name and email address, and plan/billing status, provided via the Shopify API.
• Catalog and content data — products, collections, blogs, and blog articles you choose to sync, so the Service can generate and optimize content for your store.
• Usage data — feature usage, article generation activity, and diagnostic logs used to operate and improve the Service.
• Optional analytics connections — if you connect Google Search Console or similar tools, we access the search performance data needed to power reporting and recommendations.

How We Use Information

• Provide the Service: generate, audit, and publish blog content for your store.
• Process subscriptions and billing through Shopify's billing system. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Send service communications (onboarding, digests, product updates). You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How Content Generation Works

To generate articles, relevant store context (such as product titles, descriptions, and topics you request) is sent to large-language-model providers that we contract with. This data is used only to produce your content and is not used by us to train models.

Service Providers

We share data only with the subprocessors required to run the Service:

• Shopify (platform, authentication, billing)
• AI/LLM providers (content generation)
• Supabase (database hosting)
• Amazon Web Services (image and asset storage)
• Postmark (transactional and service email)
• SEO data providers (keyword and search data)

We do not sell your data.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data while your store has StoreBlog installed. We honor Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks: when you uninstall the app or when Shopify sends a redaction request (shop/redact, customers/redact,customers/data_request), we delete or export the associated data as required.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and authenticated.

Changes to This Policy
